Words of wisdom?, is my topic on this week’s “Bleeding Heart Chronicles”. Good morning, love. I had someone say since I’m getting older, am I getting wiser? (Gee thanks on the older part, lol) And what wisdom would I have? So I decided to sit and write a few things down, like only I could! Lol.

1. Age does not measure maturity or wisdom! It’s the mileage baby!
2. Never look for what you do not want to find…..cause you’ll find it! Chew on that!
3. Having faith in someone changes nothing!! Having faith in one’s self can change your life forever!!
4. Failure leads to success! Unless you give up. So never give up.
5. Roll with the flow but never go with the crowd. Think on that.
6. All you ever need is one good friend. Take on more at the expense of drama. Small circles my friend.
7. Respect is earned. Not given. Don’t confuse that with manners! Or courtesy!
8. Truth is an acquired taste. Knowing the truth does not lead to happiness!! When has anyone ever confessed something or you found out some hidden truth and it was good?
9. Never act out of anger. You will always make the wrong decision. Allow time to pass while you contemplate your next move. While you are doing nothing, you have nothing to regret or apologize for later.
10. The person who wants to be in your life, will always put themselves in your way. If you spend your time chasing, chances are they are simply running away.
11. Never set unreachable goals. I heard a preacher say he was striving for perfection to his followers. That’s insane! Unless you are a God you will never obtain that goal. Setting unreachable goals lead to failure, depression and fear making bold moves. .
12. I could be a millionaire in the next 6 seconds if I had a dollar for every time someone judged another person.
13. Never worry about what people think of you, people who hate you will always believe the lies no matter what and your friends will always know better.
14. If you can’t love yourself. You will never share true love with anyone. So practice self love first. Real love starts from the inside.
15. No one is perfect!!! So stop putting people on high platforms. You are not perfect either, so stop treating yourself as a God.
16. No one can make you happy. That’s all on you. Happiness comes from inside. Find people who can enhance it and let it flow freely. Sounds simple. But finding the person who will truly let you be you can be a task.
17. Being different does not make you a freak. It makes you special and unique. People who hate you for being different are jealous that you have the courage to be the Real You. Most people go through life never knowing who they truly are.
18. Discover who you are. Sounds simple right? Nope. More then half of the world live and die never knowing themselves. Because society will judge you if you don’t fit into a box. Some are afraid to venture because of this. Break the damned box!! You can not find true happiness until you truly know who you are. It’s liberating!!! Only YOU can say who and what you are. Stop holding back!! Lose the fear!!
19. If you want to never be disappointed ever again. Expect to be lied to, cheated on, betrayed, disrespected, cussed at, left alone, spit on, and hit. Then imagine how happy you’ll be if you experience one day that none of that happens! Win win
20. Positive attitude brings more positive energy and people your way. Negative attitude brings more negative energy and people to you. Learning to conquer both at the same time will make you invincible. Choose your energy wisely.

As I started writing this I realized I could write pages and pages. Now I’m not saying I’m wise or this is the greatest wisdom. Wisdom is a tricky thing. Age does not make you wise and neither does experience. I do think when you truly realize you are extremely smart but yet you’ve just scratched the surface and you’ll never stop making mistakes…..well, I think then you are on the right track. Living life and making lots of mistakes teaches us lessons and gives us experience. It’s tempering our emotions with this experience that can make us wise. Still doesn’t make us perfect!! Like I said, I think we never stop making mistakes.
