People who leave us broken and move right on, is my topic on this week’s “Bleeding Heart Chronicles”. Good morning, love. This topic you may find near and dear. It’s happened to a lot of us. But have you ever noticed that the ones who do the cheating and lying and game playing….are the very ones who after a breakup of not even a week later, have a new victim ….uh…umm…..I mean person? That’s right. While we are left trying to heal and better ourselves and give time cause the relationship actually meant something. The other person has already moved on. Wow!! Like you meant nothing at all. Just on to the next. But…….Yes..but……if you watch long enough, the next person they have, will suffer the same fate as you did. There is a name for it. Serial Dater.

When the other person is the one who ended the relationship, you may feel a sense of ‘not being enough’ And the pain you deal with is partly cause you get this feeling that you are going to miss out on the wonderful person he/she is going to be. You may even be tempted to find you someone also. Just to pay them back. Or you may do it to try to get over them. Don’t! A new person or relationship is not the cure for fulfillment and it won’t erase all the deep rooted issues you now have. People who move on like they are “The Flash”, after a breakup usually repeat the same patterns. And The modern dating environment we have now has encouraged more serial daters. I could say so much more on serial daters and these insane dating sites who encourage bad behavior. But that’s another article.

So my love. instead of feeling like you’ve lost out. Take a step back, take a deep breath and get real. Put your attention on being the best you can be. For YOU, not anyone else….YOU!! Never Accept your ex’s definition of your life; define yourself! Every pain, Every heartache, every trial that you are going through is preparing you for something better and maybe even what you’ve asked for. Keep moving forward. Life can be a series of baby steps. While you are working and improving yourself, your ex will terrifying a new person and still no closer to fixing themselves or obtaining happiness. But you WILL stay focused on YOU. Don’t pull things apart and overthink or seek closure. Follow your heart and ignore what your head tells you. In the end you will create a path where you WILL find someone else and you CAN be happy – alone or in a relationship. The choice will be YOURS. There’s a saying, “What comes easy won’t last long, & what last long won’t come easy.”

When relationships leave your head spinning and you feel you’ve fallen down the path you’re on. The greatest feat is not in never falling, but in rising back up. There is only one of you, and that is your super power!! And that is the beauty you possess my love. I stand with you. I support you. I bleed with you. But Together, we will rise up again. We will improve our lives. We will know happiness again. Because Together we are unstoppable, my love! WE will master Serial Daters! Always and forever!
