People who judge you, is my topic on this week’s “Bleeding Heart Chronicles”. Good morning, love. I recently encountered a man who was very judging towards me without knowing anything about me. He saw that I was helping people cope with problems. But because I wasn’t praying for these people, he immediately called me a pagan and told me I was against Jesus. He felt that I was doing as he called it, “Witchy” stuff. Really? Wow!! It’s true I am no priest or preacher, but I am a very spiritual person. I am a empathetic person to people who are suffering hardships and heart aches. I am a Bleeding Heart! But I know I’m not the only one in the world being judged unfairly. I’m sure you have too. People who judge you can give you the similar effect to a form of discrimination. You will often feel isolated, ashamed, misunderstood, criticized and demeaned after being judged. Studies have shown people who are judged end up with higher levels of depression, anxiety and stress related symptoms. Being judged has a negative effect on your thoughts, emotions and even your physical health.

So…..why do so many judge us without knowing us? First, YOU threaten how they perceive their self. That’s right, envy plays apart. Also a person who judges you, is usually guilty of not loving their self. So, it’s not about you. It’s about them and their own insecurities, limitations and needs. So this is a flaw in them, not you. You can’t fix them. That’s not your responsibility. So when they judge and criticize you, remember it says nothing about you and everything about them. I heard a saying, “People who judge you only serve to sentence themselves, while you go free. There’s no need to defend yourself. Let it be”. That is true, cause in the end, people will judge you no matter what. Especially if you’re different. So never live your life trying to impress others, instead, impress yourself. Tell people it’s ok to judge you when they can prove they are perfect! People who judge you don’t matter. The people who do matter are the ones who don’t judge you. And a person who judges you by your past, should never have a place in your future. You were born to be real, not perfect! Follow your dreams, they know the way. Your mind is very powerful. When you fill it with positive thoughts. Positive things will come your way and your life will improve.

When the criticisms and judgement of the insecure people we encounter weighs on your shoulders and brings you to your knees. I want you to stand up and raise your head! You will see you are standing on a huge rock overlooking the beautiful peaceful ocean. The ones that criticize you are watching you from the distant shore…..envious…… I am proud of you. Why? Have you ever heard it’s not about how many people that love you for what you do but the people who stand against you for what you are. When you make a difference, there are always people who will criticize you. I’m proud that you are making a difference. You are a doer. We of like minds stand with you. And together we are unstoppable, my love! WE will master the judgements of the world! Always and forever!
